What an amazing experience my partner and I had staying in this remarkable property. Steve, our host, couldn't have been nicer or any more accommodating, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived, until we departed. The property itself is amazing - so relaxing and tranquil, with a breathtaking view of the Barron River. Words truly can't do the property justice, and the only way to experience it is to visit yourself. Guests have the ability to go swimming in the river whilst on the property (and Frankie, the beautiful Labrador, will more than willingly join you given half a chance!) Canoeing, fishing, etc. are all also possible, and with Kuranda only a short drive away, guest can be as busy or lazy as they choose with their choice of activities. And the property itself is ideal for either the romantic weekend away with your loved one, or as a family break with the kids (and there is PLENTY to keep them occupied). Thank you Steve for having us as your guests, and making us feel so welcome in your home. We'll be back soon, but with kids, friends, and pets with us next time so that we can share what an amazing place you have with others.

I can't speak highly enough of this place. Incredible location - outside the main town so you feel it's exclusive and secluded. The staff were outstanding and the place is so beautiful and well cared for. They are on the river and have a canoe you can use for free so we went 5 minutes down the river and had a picnic on a sand bank. It was so perfect. I don't have a bad word to say. I will definitely be returning
